This range is huge. Which wall should I start with? +

Start with the Premium Straight Tension Fabric Backdrop Display at 3m wide. It fits the back of a standard 3m shell scheme stand, the graphic is a single zip-on cover, and it is the cheapest wall per square metre of print. Move off that default only for a reason: buy curved if you are on a corner stand, buy step-and-repeat if people will be photographed against it, buy a pop-up if you fly to events.

How is this different from Trade Show Booth Kits & Packages? +

This collection is walls only. Trade Show Booth Kits & Packages holds complete stands, where one kit brings the back wall together with a counter, a table cover, shell scheme graphics, a hanging banner or a TV arch. Buy from here if you already have furniture and only need the branded surface behind you. Buy from the booth kits if you are fitting out a stand from nothing, 3m x 3m or larger, and want the parts to match in one order.

What height should I order for a shell scheme stand? +

2.3m. Octanorm shell scheme walls run about 2.5m high, so a 2.3m frame clears the top rail with room to stand it up inside the bay without scraping the panels. The Portable 2.3m High Fabric Exhibit Display is built for exactly that. Go to 2.5m only in an open space-only stand where nothing is above you. Taller frames read better across a hall but cannot be tilted upright in a closed bay.

Tension fabric or pop-up, what is the actual difference? +

Tension fabric is a tube frame with one zip-on cover; pop-up is a scissor lattice with fabric panels held on by velcro or magnets. Tension frames give a flatter face and a cheaper reprint. Pop-ups like the Fabric Pop Up Curved Velcro Media Wall collapse into a wheeled case and go up in ten minutes, which matters if you do a lot of events and travel by air. The lattice shows through as faint vertical lines under hard lighting.

Do I really need lights on the wall? +

On a trade show floor, yes. Exhibition halls are lit for aisles, not for artwork, so a graphic that looked saturated on screen sits grey once it is up. Two clamp lights on the top rail, or the Premium Straight Fabric Wall with LED Spotlights, fix it. Book power from the organiser early because floor drops get expensive late, and have every lead and fitting test-and-tagged to AS/NZS 3760 or the venue will pull it.

Can I stand a wall on carpet, or does it need a wall to lean on? +

Every frame here is freestanding on its own feet, and exhibition carpet over concrete is fine. The feet need about 300mm of floor depth front to back, so keep that clear of chairs. On thick underlay a tall frame can rock slightly; push the feet down until the carpet compresses and check it does not sit on a cable ramp. Do not fix anything to Octanorm uprights, since most exhibitor manuals prohibit it.

How do I wash and store the fabric between shows? +

Cold machine wash on a gentle cycle, no bleach, and hang it damp. The dye-sublimation print is in the fibre rather than on top of it, so it does not crack or peel. Do not iron the face; a wrinkled cover pulls flat again once it is tensioned on the frame. Store it folded loosely in its bag rather than creased in the same place every time, because repeated hard folds eventually show as a line.

I have a stand size but no artwork. What happens next? +

Send us the stand size and we work backwards to the frame. Pick the product and width, order it, then email your logo and any existing artwork; we set up the print files and send back a free 2D mockup so you can see the wall before anything is printed.
